I hear ya, Try that 4,000 pounds of grain in our '70 3/4 ton with drum brakes(no boost) no power steering. This was with a livestock bed along with the factory 4 inch lift blocks, puts the weight way up high. Better yet 1 large bull chasing 1 small cow around and around, oncoming traffic gives you all the room you want. Slow and careful.
Back to the present. Power disc brakes, power steering, much better brake pad material make things nice. Now if we could do something about the loose nut behind the wheel that drives like he is empty.
Must have missed something, did not see the 6800 pound payload rating on the 350srw. The max I saw was 4010 pounds payload.
