EXACTLY....

i have always wondered about the 6.0L and the prototypes and testing and everything. now, i am not saying that the engine was not run millions of miles in harsh conditions, towing, etc, etc. but are you gonna tell me that they never got a plugged up oil cooler ? or blew out an EGR cooler ? come on.....

so i totally see your point with the 6.7L. hand made test trucks ain't even close to trucks off the line, let alone the ones built on fridays.....

i hope the engine is flawless, though...so i can buy a used one in 4 or 5 years when my 6.0L has 200K on it.....

the 6.0 had hundreds of thousands of miles on it as the International VT365 and likewise the 6.4 exist as the MaxxForce 7. Ford redid the electronis in each case.

The 6.7 exists as a small group (I'm guessing 300 or so) hand made engines and scaling up to automated production rates is no where need foolproof.
