I have to agree with Eric in Wi. Stop blaming the owner of the truck or how it is driven or what it doesn't tow. Ford needs to fix the trucks. The majority of the dealers and techs are clueless. Mine is fixed for now. Good luck!

Funny thing I noticed in all of these posts here are... Customer service directs the owner to the dealer... Dealer then directs the customer home. I guess that's how Ford's circle of life goes... Send the guy home saying nothing is wrong a few times and he will learn to live with the issue.

Ford, stop telling the owner to take it to the dealer. Start telling the dealer to have techs that know about your damn product and then have their stupid software updated to perform proper updates to your product. Can this be a hard thing to do??

Educate your dealers first... Telling your customers that they don't know how to drive is the most immature thing a dealer that's representing you can do.

Even Cory is like screw this.... And he left to other projects. Welcome Crystal...

I could not agree more!!! My work schedule (like most people here) does not allow me to just have it checked over then returned with no real fix to the problem. Bottom line is I don't have time for the runaround, I need answers and an action plan for the solution or it's just a waste of my time.

I guess taking it in at least starts a paper trail on my truck with the present problems that need to be addressed. I will PM my info to you tonight. Hopefully MemphisCountry is on to something because my rig is definately a daily driver with an occasional heavy dump trailer tow.

Thanks
Hi Trophycase,

Thanks for updating me. You're right: getting your concerns documented is an important step. I'll look forward to your PM and getting the ball rolling. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Hi Jdmuscle,

I know this has been a frustrating experience; even from my short time here I can tell that there are a lot of people who are having a tough time getting their concerns resolved. All I can say is that I'm going to do what I can to help.

I shared your message with Cory and he had a good laugh. Thanks for the welcome!

Crystal

Well just picked up the truck after 3 days and invoice says "no problem found at this time"... It's crazy how hundreds of ppl are having the same issue yet they can't fix it. I even sent the text the link to this thread and printed out the problems. Guess that's not enough for them to fix it

I am new to this forum but not the issue.I had the recall done on my truck in July and three dealers ago.My truck would pull my 30' trailer up a steep grade doing 85mph with more behind it. Now it has trouble on the same hill doing 70mph.The dealer that installed the recall told me he couldn't do anything for me and to call FORD.It helped get the ball rolling. They opened a case and sent me to the second dealer where they reprogrammed it and told me the first dealer forgot a second part of the program? I didn't question it i had power back. The mpg went down 2-4mpg and It still had transmission issues not to mention the rolling stalls(scary).Try pulling into traffic and have the truck just cut out. It has happened enough times that I am nerves to turn with traffic coming. So I took it back. My service rep said they cant help if I am paranoid about drive my truck. I am just glad we were on the phone and not face to face. My wife and 11 year old daughter drive with me in that truck. I couldn't believe it. They couldn't get it to do it so they can't do anything about it. didn't mater after being talked to like that. I went to pick up my truck and it was driving worse then it was before I brought it in.Dealer #3 told me that #2 denies ever programming it. Why? Now I am getting nerves. I bought me a brand new truck with a premium warranty and it is worthless? I took a ride with #3 dealers tech and he acknowledged the problems. Got a call two days later and now they cant find anything wrong. My customer service rep said two dealers said there is nothing wrong. So now my truck is out front worse than before and last option is get them to buy it back. I used to feel like i was supported by FORD. I was hoping that someone had some advice. I left out a bunch of stuff to keep it short . Guess it didn't help. I love my FORD (used to). Ford customer service was great, then they believed everything a salesman said. Like I do this for fun.

^^ why would you be nervous about the truck cutting out with your loved ones in it... Can't understand that part at all.... You do realize most service advisors are total losers in life right. If someone can't relate to your concern as such... Then don't waste your breath in talking to them.

Frankly... Sell that beautiful truck of yours and buy a Chevy or RAM. One thing though... All dealers are the same.. But atleast with the other brands your relationship with the dealers end after you buy the truck... As you'll be happily driving it down the road and living your life as opposed to trying to prove to three different dealerships and Ford that their product is not upto par.

On the other hand...The new fusion is setting records in the most amount of recalls in a week record.

My resolution

Well gntleman it has been a long tie since I first posted about my 2012 F350 and it's problems and the lack of caring response from Ford. Today am I here to say that I won my lawsuit against the dealership and
ford corporate. The key to my win was that I recorded every encounter with the dealership and ford customer service. I even had a Ford service tech give me an internal memo from Corporate stating "While Ford acknowledges these problems exist at this time there is no known solution. Our engineers are working on the problem at this time. If this vehicle come in for repair do not attempt to service it. Do not replace or repair any parts at this time until a solution is found." This was the deat nail in court. The dealership was ordered to take back the truck and Ford was ordered to pay me full cost for the vehicle plus legal fees and a small amount for suffering. Now I own a 2013 Dodge Laramie and love it. I suggest you all follow suit.

LOL, thanks for the advice. Why I would be nervous about it cutting out? I don't know maybe getting creamed by on coming traffic. I love my FORD. I just wish they would take it and make it the truck I bought. 2011 F-250 6.7L crew cab with tow package with the esp. It is a crazy long story.I left out so much. Im new to the forum so going to take it easy on the complaining and learn from you boys with all the knowledge. I really do need advice from someone that has been there. I have to go mow my yard, check with you boys later.

Fordreeves... You must've got a 13 halfer then. Regardless it's a smart move... You'll have a better relationship with your truck instead of the dealership and the Ford Customer rep.

I have to tell you' FORD Customer Service felt like they were behind me until they believed some snake charmer of a Service Rep.

I could never be a salesman, (to honest). Heck, they were probably just good copping-bad copping me the whole time. Honest and trusting , they have a word for that.... Gullible?

My father before dying of cancer a year and a half ago used to talk of FORD like there was no other. Its hard to bad mouth something your father believed so much in.
