Neat 6.7 engine tech article
First Look: Ford's All-New 6.7-Liter V-8 Power Stroke Diesel Engine - PickupTrucks.com News
turbo bearings cooled by water, two independent water systems (1 higher temp for the engine, 1 lower temp for trans, intercooler, fuel and EGR cooler), reverse flow aluminum heads. It has slanted connecting rods like the cummins and 6 bolts around each cylinder for strength.
They went all out in the diesel tech department.
I am thinking I would not want to have a year 1 motor no matter how cool it sounds on paper.
