I have had my 2011 F-250 in the shop 3 times for power steering issues.
They have replace the pump, box and hydro booster, and I'm still having the same issue.
Any suggestions?
I experience the power steering loss at idle speed, and with brakes applied.
I have 37" tires and 90k on the truck.
Like I said everything has been replaced. The only thing I can think it can be is a vac leak in the system.
Take your foot off the brake when you turn the wheel. The system controls both steering and braking. Oversize tires are your issue. Even stock tires can tax the system with braking at a stop. Most likely not what you want to hear.
