2011 F350. 6.7 with 50K miles. Leak in the seam of the radiator and the dealer told me not covered by warranty. 1500 to replace. Truck is one if the first "job" trucks from my research. Anyone else with radiator issues?
I have read of a few other radiators failing, Deffinatly an expensive fix. Like stated above you might call and see if they would assist you. I doubt it....but you never know especially since its a known issue.
i remember the old radiators where you could take it to the shop, they can re braise it, pressure test it and send you on your way..... for about $10.....

Makes me wonder what it would cost to have one custom made so future repairs could be made if necessary.

Hi Chris,
I can do a bit of investigating and see how I can help. I can't make any promises, but it may be worthwhile for me to look into some options. Send me a PM with your VIN, dealer, mileage, daytime phone number, and full name; I'll do the rest.

You might call ford cust service and ask for some assistance since it is a known weakness.

Thanks for the great suggestions, senix, 06ram610, and BlueMuleTrucking! I'm here to help.
truck was in for service the end of Oct with 41K miles . Check Coolant Addative. At that time it was low on coolant. Dealer added 28.00 worth but does not have the qty noted. Service ticket did not noted as leaking at that point but then how did it go low enough to need the coolant. 28 bucks is almost a gallon worth. I have had to buy once already to top off myself after the leak was noticed.
Did they add coolant when the check coolant message came up, Or add the Coolant rejuvenator? The VC-12 Coolant rejuvenator is about $14 a quart and you would need almost two quarts if you failed the check coolant test. And that is spread over the two cooling systems.
