You guys with 2012 Super Duties having any of the shift flare issues, delays going into reverse, or erratic shifting of any kind that has been reported with the 2011's?

No delays going into reverse, however the trans has good days and poor days. Poor I mean not a smooth like my old duramax. This is my first ford in a long time and so maybe my trans is normal. Happy with the truck so far. The truck likes to have a full load and the trans is smooth under full load.
So far so good. I'm empty 80% of the time, and even with the box loaded with tools they probably aren't over 500lbs of weight. And the trans shifts great. It's definatly a firm shift but with a solid heavy duty feeling to it. No slipping, missing gears, or any of the other symptoms people are talking about.
What scares me is since the 2012's aren't having the problem.
1. Ford found the problem, but can't justify repairing it properly and hoping the customer keeps past warranty.
2. There was a problem during assembly, on a certain few, maybe as minor as something not torqued to spec and ford cant find.
3. A batch of defective parts were used in job 1 trannies.

Someone posted earlier that the 2012 transmissions have a new torque converter, fly wheel, and a bunch of internal part. So lets do the math, Ford designed a new tranny, which cost millions to develop I'm sure, used it for ONE year, then they change a few things. I'm pretty sure they know there is a problem with the 2011's, now they are just trying to patch them together and forget about us.

Yes but 2011 job 2 transmissions have not popped up yet with the same problems.

I'm pretty sure there have been people posting here with Job 2 trucks with the same problems. And we have definitely had people with job 1 trucks not having the issues. It just proves that the parts used (all of 2011) were not being built with very good precision.

Mine is job 2 , has the latest tsb with solenoids. It still shutters intermittently, have not been able to be verified by dealer. Ford has cut off all communications, including Cory. It looks like there aware, and working on a fix, or don't care and hoping the majority get out of warranty to keep cost down. I am going to hook up a video camera to record this shutter, them look at my options. Maybe Ford will have a fix before this gets out of hand.

The fix must not be worth the $. Thanks for the heads up
Just had a 2012 converter installed on mine with a new pump and it seems to be working just fine. I only had a slight shudder problem. Not as bad as some of the video's I've seen recently.
Mine's a job 1, built right in the middle of the issue timeline, 09/10, 11000 miles, mostly towing, zero issues yet. Yet I say

My Feb 2011 build has zero tranny issues.
Shifts as it should, when it should.
Only 4100 miles on it, so maybe I should also add- so far.
My only gripe is the weak engine breaking.
There was a new calibration last spring that address's that breaking. Mine got much better it seemed.
