I don't know but if I can get 20 MPG both my 6.0s and maybe my 7.3 are gone.

I don't have any reason to not believe that the photo of the computer is accurate, but I could have made a picture of my hunitng partner's 6.7 cummings going off of Monarch Pass showing over 250 mpg. The truth of the matter is that the Dodge averaged only 10 mpg for the entire trip. If thethe new drive line will deliver 30 mpg at a steady 50 mph I would be surprised because that would be an over 100% increase in mpg. I hope they will deliver on the mpg, power and reliability. If they do I will consider moving up to a new one and giving up what I consider one of the best trucks ever built, see sig.

my truck is in the dealership for some warranty work and i got to talking with a service advisor and my sales guy. they told me they went to a class on the new 6.7L, and the guy driving the truck had been pulling a 6K trailer behind him for a little over 2K miles and he averaged 18.1 MPG. pretty amazing if true, and i hope it is.

Reports like these are really exciting. It will not be much longer before the rubber will hit the road and we will have some first hand facts instead of hearsay. From what I have been reading Ford has pared down the parasitic drag in the drive train, redesigned the tq converter, lowered the peak tq to 1600 rpm, lowered the rpm's @ cruise with the 6th gear, all in search for more mpg's. I also saw an ad today that the 2010 strokes had a $5,000 rebate. Must be they are trying to unload the 10's cheap so that the 11's will bring MSRP.

Father went to local Ford dealer yesterday and they are giving the 10's away. Offered up 7K rebate and then said they were willing to work on the sticker too. Had two sales guys pounce on him and said that pretty much any reasonable offer would be considered!! Of course, their definition of reasonable and ours might differ,,,,
MSRP was also the talk at the dealership. of course it would be right ? but it seemed that the thinking was that they are not going to be making near as many of them with the economy where it is, and there most likely will be no incentives or very small incentives on them. they are giving very big incentives on the two 2010's they have left. and at least my dealer is not talking about bringing in many non special order trucks. 4 years ago, they had at least 30 F350's / 250's on the lot at any given time. all trim levels and configs, with plenty in the queue ready to come. now, they told me they are bringing in maybe 3 or 4 2011's at a time, that is it.....trying to tighten up price by controlling supply, it seems.
