0% interest

Are we going to see 0% once the 09's start coming out?

I am going to be wanting to get an 08 CC in about March or April and I am wondering if this offer might be coming back.

Thanks

I highly doubt it.

Re: 0% interest

The days of big rebates and zero interest are gone IMHO.
What you will get is more of the same kind of reactions that we are starting to see..
The big 3 will instead cut production and keep dealer stock to a minimum. It's cheaper to cut production and lose millions, than it is to build big numbers, then give them away and lose 100's of millions.

well damn..... May be waiting a little while longer before pulling the trigger then, as this is more of a luxury than a need.

Re: 0% interest

I took advantage of the 0% for 72mo about this time last year (actually 9/06) on my 06. I've been wondering myself if that will be offered again.

Re: 0% interest

Ford is doing 0% for 60 months on Expeditions and F-150's now, and Dodge just announced 0% for 60 months on all 08's. I would be surprised if Ford didn't do it sooner or later. I'm waiting to see if that hapens and if we r getting a 6 speed for 09 then going to get one.

Re: 0% interest

You're right - looks like they do have 0% for 36 months on diesels though.

I just saw it on TV this morning and didn't look at the web as it didn't interest me....

Re: 0% interest

Zero isn't gone. They won't make an 09 until September. I don't know when they will discount the 08's. A buddy of mine runs a dealership here in Dallas. Texas is truck country but he says Super Duty numbers are less than half what they usually are at this time. He has a used lot with half a dozen 08's people brought back. He said fuel prices and poor mileage on the 08's is what the customers are citing. It is a nice truck and even if you can afford the truck fuel is a factor. I know people say hay you bought a 50K truck don't cry about fuel. But my fuel bill in my 16/17mpg 05 F250 is 650-800 a month! Make that 1100-1200 if I bought a new 08. That is my mortgage payment folks! Fuel economy matters even if we can afford the 50K trucks to begin with. I have thought about a half ton gasser to do my lighter work with diesel being 40-50 cents higher than gas! The gov't needs to regulate this fuel market. $120 billion dollar quarterly profits are sickening.

Re: 0% interest

There will be huge incentives and 0% soon enough. They are not selling the numbers they expected and fuel prices surely are not helping.

After the first of the year if I had to make a guess unless the other kids in the playground start offering it first.

Re: 0% interest

Thanks guys you are bringing me renewed hope. 0% interest is my justification to the other half (though it makes no sense) that spending 50k on a truck isnt that bad.

Re: 0% interest

Man I hope they bring out 0% interest, that would be SWEET, and make me happier for waiting this long.
