6.0, build date and build time

I orderd my truck: F350 cc long bed 4wd with six speed Dec 25, 2002. I finally got a build date March 3, not from my dealer but, from a fellow board member. I probably wont get it till the end of march. My point is this- It only takes Hyndai ship building in Korea 90 days to build and launch a container ship ready for sea. Why does it take Ford that long to get my truck to me? Ok, you want it bad, you are hanging on every moment...my suggestion is to reeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllaaaaaaaxxxxxxxx, it will come to you and when it does join the fray. But please and I submit Please, do not forget the first moment you fire it up, if you take the time to enjoy it, it will carry you through the many payments that follow (that is if you are like the rest of us), do not let your feelings get ahead of you, like a hormonial imbalanced teengager, one who can not be reasoned with, one who is habitually distracted, one who has only one purpose in life, that is to find a girl....I suppose you hav e found your girl so when your 6.0 arrives you will find your life..... So much for my poetic side.....

Because you ordered a component that wasn't available yet. There was a "component delay" for the 6-speed you ordered. If you had ordered an automagic tranny, you'd be driving it by now.

There's a new engine in town, and Ford wanted to get it right before they shipped it to you. It took a while to get the combo of 6.0L engine and manual tranny to work right. So you're waiting now. But waiting now is much better than Ford building your truck with parts that won't work right. So be happy.
