That brings back memories...any of you ever drive an old Willys military Jeep? No keys...just three toggle switches. Turn one, hold another, turn the other to start. and then hold on as the old GoDevil sets you back in the seat as you hit a blazin' 50 mph in the 1/4 mile at 543.64 seconds.

Don't forget that 10 gallon gas tank and a fill-up that cost $2.50 and they washed your winshield, checked the oil and filled the tires with air.

Sinclair Stations and the Big Green Brontasaurus... I remember when two stations in my home town got into a service war. It came to a stop when one of the owners made his attendants wear white shirts and black ties. One of the attendants leaned in under the hood and the tie got caught in the fan. Fortunately the owner had provided CLIP ON ties for his guys and no service attendants were injured during this experiment.
