90P, 60F and 446 delay.

For anyone that's interested, I spoke with Bobby Williams this morning regarding the hold on the 60F (Advanced Security Group) and the 446 (6 speed transmission). Here is the situation as it currently stands.

1. The 60F option is standard on Lariats and can't be deleted so if you order a Lariat with the 446 option your order will be held up.
2. I tried to order the 90P option (power passenger seat) WITHOUT the 60F option on my XLT. This can't be done at the moment. Sometime in November you will be able to get the 90P option WITHOUT the 60F option. Therefore all XLT orders with the 90P and 446 will be held up.
3. The hold on the 60F/446 option could be lifted as soon as next week.

Thanks go to Bobby Williams for this information.

Re: 90P, 60F and 446 delay.

K9Crew,
My truck was in paint department this morning at 7:45. Might be done by now, that was the last word I had from a person I know at the plant. It appears the stop on the 6-speed lariats was lifted a little over a week ago and they have been building them for a few days. I believe it was previously posted that the ASG on the 6-speeds won't include the auto locks (I still have a hard time understanding why they can't get something like this working). But in any case I have changed nothing on my order and it is built. I ordered on 5/31 however. But finally it appears I will get the truck soon.

KY PSD:
Good news for you that your truck is being built ... congratulations! Bobby did mention that the hold could be lifted any day now.

I was happy to delete the ASG but now I HAVE to order it at $225 in order to get the power passenger seat. I'd hope that Ford would reduce the cost of the ASG for 6 speed owners because not all of the features are working!
