? about rebates and X-plan

Well I read all the info I could find on the x-plan and could not find my answer so I will toss my question out there.

I am getting ready to take delivery of my f-350 here in the next couple of days and yesterday went into dealership to finalize paper work. Get 3000 cash back, 1000 owner loyalty, 300 business credit, and 500 recent college grad. However, today my salesman calls me up and tells me 300 business credit and 500 college credit don't work with x-plan. This after all paper work was done and filled out, talk about a bummer of a start to labor day.

Well I am wondering is he correct in stating that these 2 rebates are not applicable to x-plan purchases?

Thanks for the help

Re: ? about rebates and X-plan

ask him for the Vincent report for the VIN number for the truck. They do make some exclusions but there's no rational for these to be excluded.

He is full of poo. Xplan gets the same deals as everyone else gets. If you qualify for an incentive, regardless of Xplan, you qualify

Re: ? about rebates and X-plan

The dealer is correct. Vehicles purchased using A, X, Z and D plans are ineligible for some rebates/incentives. These include, but are not limited to...

Recent College Grad
Business Credit
AQHA rebate

Not according to my dealer. Sucks to have that dealer.

My information agrees. Don't know if it's RIGHT or not....

You are correct. Ford is the one who sets the plan rules, not the dealer. The dealer has no say in the matter when you are dealing with A,X,Z, and D plans.

Here is a link to the Ford College Student Purchase Plan. If you look at the rules section it clearly states that vehicles purchased/leased under A, X, Z and D plans are ineligible.
