I think the amount is based on where you live. I'm in CT and I got one for $750. the dealer informed me that I couldn't use it with the $300 "commericial rebate" I was already getting.
This seems bogus. The actual certificate did not have any exclusions.

The dealer did offer to use the higher one of the two.

Anybody else run in to this exclusion?

[/ QUOTE ]After closer examination of the fine print, it turns out the coupon was good for x-plan, just couldn't be used on A, Z and D plans. It also exempted, among others, Mustang GT and Super Duty Harly. I take that to mean that the rest of the Mustang and SD models qualify to use the coupon.

Here is the problem, I tried to use it on a Mustang V6 on Wednesday and even though it only exempted the Mustang GT in the fine print, the dealers computer wouldn't take the coupon code on my purchase. The dealer is waiting on an answer from their Ford Rep but if I don't hear something today I would like to pursue this further on my own. So does anyone know where exactly I should direct my complaint to at Ford?

Does it say Mustang GT or is GT, Mustang etc. Mine was the second meaning it was not available on the $160,000 GT (GT-40 lookalike) or the Mustang in general.

[/ QUOTE ]It specifically states the "MUSTANG GT" and "Super Duty HD" along with several other models to include the Ford "GT", are not eligible, which should mean that the other versions of the Mustang are eligible, just like the other versions of the SD are. The code comes up as good with other cars but won't work with the V6 Mustang. It seems to me that if they meant to exclude the "entire" Mustang line they would not have specifically called out the "Mustang GT". If anyone has a contact at Ford to help resolve this, the info would be appreciated.

I ordered the brochures from ford online for the SD, F-150, Ranger, and the mustang. The mustang brochures did not mention any rebates. The other three all had the 1000 dollar bonus rebate.

Still cant figure out the $ I got one on the SD and a freestyle, both $500. Only new Ford I ever bought was my 2000 7.3???

I ordered a rebate booklet from ford and all I could get was $1000 on a fusion and $500 on a explorer.
