AIC in Excursion

Out of all the info I have downloaded for the 6.0L 2005 Excursion, I can't seem to find an order code for an AIC for the Excursion. Is one available for the Excursion?

Thanks

Re: AIC in Excursion

There are a few different PNs for Ford AICs. One of them is F5TF-12B641-AD. Do a search, and you can find out more.

I don't think the 2005 Excursion has a pigtail for an AIC in the wiring harness, so it would have to be wired manually, but I think it just takes four wires.

Re: AIC in Excursion

No, you cannot order an AIC for an X-Car as part of the factory order. But you can order one from the parts department. (Yes, they cost a lot more that way.)

There is no plug for the AIC in an X-Car.

But it will work just fine and dandy with a little bit of electrical wiring. Details on exactly how to wire it into an X-Car are in the Power Stroke Excursions forum.
