Am i mssing anything on ording a new f250cc 6.0

HI guys,

First post here! Been reading all that I can to get a feel for this site and its content. I am ordering a new ford real soon, but i wanted your opinions on some options. Planning on ordering a new f250 4x4 cc 6.0, not sure if i should get the longbed or the short bed. Now i have been reading about the f250 vs. f350 towing deal. the truck will primarily be used for pulling the family horses. We currently have a 2 horse bumper pull, but i would like to add a gooseneck one day, nothing crazy just maybe a 3 horse and dressing room with a place to sleep in the gooseneck. what are your thoughts? what is the ride difference betweend the f250/350? Also here are the
items i will order on truck, should i add or delete any of them?

f250 4x4 cc Lariet shadow gray: 6.0 diesel, captain chairs, Lt265 owl tires, 3.73 limited slip, chrome cab steps, electronic sof, skid plates, telescoping power heated mirrors, roof lights, adjusting pedals(wife will drive also), heavy duty suspension, reverse sensor, ford hitch, heated seats.

if you have any suggestions please let me know what and why, i really want to order this truck properly, thanks in advance

Joe,

Cochise here. Welcome to The Diesel Stop.Com
We covered most of your order last night. I would lean more to the F350 and the camper package. The difference in ride quality is not noticeable. The long bed would give you more bed space. If your plans were for a gooseneck with a wedge nose running the short wheelbase would not be too much of a problem.
So, you flying in?

Good move using Cochise. He took very good care of me and I have no regrets. He is very knowledgeable so I would listen to his suggestions. Your are going to love to truck!

Longbed most definatly! Also get the 350. Had both and the ride is the same. 350 gives you bigger hauling capacity. You never know, My trailer started out a 4 horse and we turned it into a 4 horse slant with long living quarters. Trailer was 41' long!
