Well, I sold the 2003 F-350 in my sig. and went to visit with my dealer on July 7th. I left with a buyers order for an '08 JOB 2 F-450 Lariat Crew Cab in Pueblo Gold. Here is the option list: Auto Trans, Dual alt, ESOF, Block Heater, Traction control, Power Sliding Rear Window, Reverse sensor, Adjustable pedals, Memory seats, 6 CD radio, Reverse Camera, Heated Seats, Upfitter Switches, Snow Plow Prep Pkg, Capt. Chairs..
Got the trade in price i was looking for on the 2005 and just waiting for the build date. Tentative is Aug 9th. Now I need to start ordering the items to outfit it. As soon as it is confirmed for build, i will be ordering an A.R.E. "Z" cap for it.
The waiting is the hardest......

i went with the 4.30's This thing should pull anything I want with those. If i put the 4.88's in it, i would have to worry about ripping road and curbs up with the truck.......

yours is the first one that i have seen a good picture of in the Pueblo Gold. I have had RED, True blue, Wedgewood Blue, green.. I wanted to try another color and I will not buy a White or Black truck to plow with.

I ordered my 450 Feb 20, truck deliverd to dealer May 21 if I remember correctly. Anyway it was a looooonnnnnngggggg 90 day wait, but when the truck finally showed up, it was everything I was hoping for. What a great truck, you are going to love it. I have Pueblo Gold under Dark Metallic Stone, great combination, though I still wonder why Ford calls that color Gold, it does not look like gold to me, more of a tan color.

Great looking truck JD. We were going to order the white over Gold but our business is called Greener Pastures and the wife said green would make really make sense. I looked at a 250 the dealer had in the green and it sure was sharp. But so was the white, gold, blue, stone, etc. They are good looking trucks. My current truck is the Dark Metallic Stone over Pueblo and when it's clean that's a great combo. It's good to be back on a sight again. From 1999 to 2005 I had a Dodge 2500 (Cummins of course) and really enjoyed the TDR sight. However just for fun I got on there the other day and I had forgotten how many problems they have [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img]

Remember that "build date" actually means "Monday of the expected build WEEK" so ending up with the exact same build date as someone else does not mean anything other than that they'll both be built that week (probably).

I ended up going with the forest green over Pueblo Gold. Our business name is Greener Pastures and the wife said 'duh, how can you not go green'. Also my last name is Green. I will gladly post some pics when the new machine hits the farm, and when I can figure out how to do that [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]. I will have to take a plant tour sometime that week. I wish they did like John Deere. If you order a new tractor built in Waterloo you can be a 'gold key' owner. They give you a 'gold key' and let you drive it off the line, man would I be all smiles [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img].
