Does anyone know where I can find a torque and HP curve for the PSD ?

Here's the one from the '02 brochure. Sorry my scanner is not better.
The red scale on the left (net torque) is 300 thru 550 lb/ft in increments of 50. The blue scale on the right (HP) is zero thru 250 HP in increments of 50. The RPM scale on the bottom is 500 thru 3,000 in increments of 500.

I special-ordered it new and plan to drive it until it quits.
I'd like to see a power and torque curve for the new 6L engines. Has Ford ever published one ? I can't find any reference to one.
I got a brochure today and there isn't one in it and my sales guy can't seem to find one either. But then he isn't very knowledgable about these trucks. He thought the automatic was a 6 speed.
In late 2003 there was a HP and TQ graph in the ford literature.
I didn't save it.

The TorqShift is advertised as being a 5 speed automatic, when actually it has six forward speeds. On cold engine operation (below 0 degrees) the overdrive clutch is engaged in third gear for a ratio of 1.09 : 1. The transmission will shift directly to sixth from fourth and fifth is skipped. On a warm engine the shift pattern would be 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th (direct drive), 6th.

Furthermore, it might have 6 gears, but it only ever shifts 5 going from stop to highway speed. Thus it is really a 5 speed transmission.

I think "5 Speed" is the most correct term to describe this trans because thats what Ford calls it,but.
It is really a 3 speed with an OD. The OD can be applied to any one of the three forward speeds by programming. The normal programming applies OD to first gear to get your second speed and to third gear to get your fifth speed.

That wasn't what the salesman meant. He had the auto and the stick transmissions confused.

Some truck transmissions have ratio overlap and they aren't counted. Some 13 speeds are like that.

I know. I was just messing with you.
What about reverse??? Ok, I'll drop it.
I'm just jealous of the 6 speed guys.
