Anyone have a way to track a vin?

I have a vin # and a delivery date for my truck but does anyone know how to track where it is at the moment? My dealer is no help , they don't want to talk to me much . Next truck will come from our resident truck gurus
Thanks gents.
Greg

Greg,

Being that your truck is coming to the west coast it will be transported by Union Pacific. They do not have a VIN tracing web site. You must get the rail car number from your dealer, Colorado River Ford I presume, and then visit Click Here

Did you order from Colorado River Ford? If so, how is your salesperson? If you did order from Colorado River Ford talk to Tom Norris, Fleet guy, or Gary Shand, the GSM and tell them I said hello.

Good Luck,

Bobby Williams

Yes , it is coming from C.R.F . I would have come seen you , but found out about this site 4 days after I orderd my truck . I will tel Gary and Tom hello for ya . I have been friends with them for 18 years now . Unfortunatly they didn't get the order , one of the new pups did . Since I was told that under X-plan , there was not a commision , I did not want to waste Garys time . Now I wish I would have . I think I know more about Ford trucks than the new kid . You and this site can make an expert out of anyone
