Hello all. Does anyone out there know of a good dealer knowledgable of the PSD's anywhere in or south of Los Angeles?
Also, if I order a truck in California, I am assuming it will at the least come with a CAT. Is there anything else that would restrict the trucks performance due to State regulations?

Pearson Ford is the place where I bought mine, The salesman was Eli Pitman. This guy treated me great, Best truck buying experiance ever.
The only trucks that seem to have the cats are the 6spd's with the 275hp engines, the autos with the 250hp engines are cat less.
This is the same in most if not all the states.

Click on "download center", then download the current order guide and price list. Use the middle column on the price list and add about $200 to get dealer invoice price. Bobby wants you to know the nitty gritty details of what you're doing, so he doesn't try to hide any of the price data from you.

Lots of Ford-Diesel members have bought their new trucks from Bobby, and none have ever reported anything back here except what a good job he does for them.

Sunrise is also a very big dealership, so Bobby has lots of trucks in stock. Maybe he'll have what you want so you won't need to wait for a new one to be ordered?

He was easy to deal with, no pressure, and a great price!
And he drives the PSD so he knows what he's selling.

Now, for clarification,,,,does a PSD sold in Cailifornia have any State restrictions or additional smog devices?

[img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif[/img], I didn't put 2 and 2 together. As I was talking to you on the phone I was replying to your post.

To the best of my knowledge, the PSD does not have any smog related equipment on it. The difference is a sticker under the hood.

As all I have sold or seen have had the CA emissions on them, maybe someone else here can shed some light on the subject.

Cochise here. Bobby would be your best bet. All vehicles sold in California and Cross-Border States (Arizona, Nevada and Oregon) would have to be California Emission Certified. As far as I know all you get is the certificate.
Bobby would know all the details.
