APR Financing thru Dealer or Ford???

Ford is currently offering APR financing incentives of 3.9% for 36 mo, 4.9% for 48 mo, etc. Has anybody had luck negotiating better rates than this with the dealer? I did notice 0% APR is offered on new F150s. I wasn't sure whether this type of thing is "negotiable" with the dealer. I guess it depends on who is carrying the loan -- Ford or the dealer.

Re: APR Financing thru Dealer or Ford???

Ford's "incentive" APRs are set in stone. Also except for specific offers you will either get the rebates or the APR but usually not both.

The best deal is to get financing through your Credit Union and then take all the rebates. Depending on the amount of the rebate it can still be a better deal to get a slightly higher APR from your CU with the rebate then to take Ford's lower APR without one. Your CU should (I know mine does) have a calculator on their site to help figure this out.
