Has anybody tried this yet?
I don't have my rail car number yet, but when I do,.....
.
The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company (BNSF) has a eTool designed to enable customers to get real-time tracking and tracing data about their shipments.
Called Customer Logistics System (CLS), this eTool provides BNSF customers complete access to all relevant information about each of their shipments while it moves on the BNSF network.

I tracked my truck on the rail car using Union Pacifics tracking service. The rail car made frequent stops, and took 5 days from Kentucky to Oklahoma. But that is fast part of the shipping since it is still sitting in the railyard awaiting delivery to the dealer. That is one week sitting 30 miles from the dealer. The truck was built 4/24/07.

Mine made it from Kentucky to Washington State in 3 days. It's also been sitting in the railyard for 7 days now .

I'm thinking that the people that work in railyards don't order Ford trucks. Elsewise they'd be a little faster getting them out to us poor bedeviled owners-to-be. Does anyone know what determines whether a truck goes out via rail or on a semi? I live about 652 miles (give or take a few hundred feet) due east of the plant on I-64 in Virginia.
