Body-Colored Exterior Door Handles, Mirrors, etc.

I plan to get an 08 Lariat F350 SRW CC. I need the full back seat of the Lariat but like the body-colored exterior door handles and tow mirrors on the King Ranch (versus the black plastic ones on Lariat). The brochure doesn't show those as being options on the Lariat. Has anybody ordered these on the Lariat? Especially on a white truck, I think the white body-colored handles and mirrors would look better than black plastic ones.

Thanks!

To get the body color door handles, you can order a XLT Sport, it even has the body color bumpers, than just option it up to almost a Lariet. For the mirrors, I do know of guys that had the mirrors painted the same color as the body, looked pretty good.

On my FX4 the door handles are body colored and only the top 1/3 of the mirror is body colored the rest is mat black.

I think the XLT sport package is one of the best looking trucks. I'm not saying it because I have one.

Re: Body-Colored Exterior Door Handles, Mirrors, etc.

I just bought a set of white handles and put them on myself. Takes 5 minutes per door.

Thanks for the info. Did you buy them directly from Ford? If so, how much were they and did you ask if the body-colored mirrors (from King Ranch series) also available? I may ask the dealer to work them into our deal. Thanks again.

Re: Body-Colored Exterior Door Handles, Mirrors, etc.

The mirors are available, but I didn't do them. I bought them from the dealer and I think they were in the range of $100 to $150 each. I'm sure ebay or other places have them cheaper but I didn't check. I did buy a set of the big mirrors for an old truck to replace the small ones and that install was easy as well. I did find them on ebay much cheaper than the dealer. Hope this helps. Hunter
