Build a 2008 F-450 PSD pickup

Still can't seem to do the Ford Build a Vehicle for the 2008 PSD F-450
pickup on the Ford websites -- commercial or retail.

Also, the latest Feb issue of Diesel Power Magazine came in with the
2008 Ford PSD on the cover and quickie review of it inside. When I
opened up the front cover there was a 2-page Ford ad -- for the F-150
gasser! Geez... Where does Ford get their marketing guys? Or is there
a message in this -- that one should buy a F-150 gasser rather than a
6.4-L PSD until the bugs get worked out...

Maybe the answer is in the 6.4-L forum -- where there's a link to a news
article that Ford is suing Navistar and Navistar is threatening to stop
shipping 6.4-L engines to Ford.... This should get interesting...

Apparently Bobby's website was down for a few hours. When I tried it about half-hour ago, I got the blue screen too. But as of 10:22 a.m. CST on 13 Jan '07 it works. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/warmsmile.gif[/img]

Not working tonight either. Get this message when trying to access the 2008 F-450 "Error 500 'error.jsp' Unknown Host" I shouldn't read anything into this should I?..... [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Thanks for checking it out Bobby! I was hoping to get familiarized with the 2008 F-450 Pickup options before I called you.

Bobby -- its working now. The trouble I had before was not so much with
your website, but that your URL faiiled DNS lookup. I.e., the
http://www.sunrisefordfleet.com would not resolve to its Internet
address. This could happen if the URL was incorrect, DNS server
problems in the Internet, etc. DNS problems might be due to a flaky
ISP...

BTW, I'm still looking for an online source of the Ford SuperDuty specs
sourcebook...

Still getting the error code this morning but I did find a bank site that has a working link: Build and price 08 F-450 Pickup

The only automatic tranny unit shown is the King Ranch version but you can remove the King Ranch package.

For those of you that have seen the new commercial about the 6.4 and tailgate step that dabued this weekend I feel like somebody had read my post on the 11th(see above)..... [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img]
