Re: buying new truck soon, who has the best deals in the country?

Rather than looking for the "best deal in the country".... might I suggest looking at who has the best service in the country? You will alwys get your best service at your selling dealer (even though it's not supposed to happen). If your selling dealer isn't well versed in diesel repair, you are at a disadvantage. If you go to a dealer that IS well versed in diesels, but not your selling dealer, you have every reason to expect mediocre service...

Just a thought...

Re: buying new truck soon, who has the best deals in the country?

Try Tony G -at Ron Carter in Alvin. He is the fleet manager. He sells with no BS. He will find and get you the truck you want. His number is 281-388-8016. That's his direct line. I have bought two f250's from him. I don't care for their service dept but he is AWESOME to work with. Both sales took less than a couple hours. From walk in to drive out. Tell him Eric S sent you and you are looking for Xplan or better.

Good luck,
Eric

You mean Victor, NY That’s where I got mine....

Use the ford website to search the inventory of your local dealers or if you know the zip, any dealer in the country. Then call around and see if you can get a price quote. Go over to the order forum and ask this question again. They keep track of who are running deals but I hate to say it, you seem to have to missed the boat by a month or so... I do not think anybody is running the family discounts anymore.

good luck,
mark

Re: buying new truck soon, who has the best deals in the country?

Yeah VanBortel Ford talk to Jeff Clark. Look at the Ford web site and build a truck that you want and give Jeff a call. 1-888-690-ford. The zip is 14564 if you do an inventory search like the Doc said. They were the lowest price when I ordered mine in January. It was well worth the trip from Indiana to NewYork.

Re: buying new truck soon, who has the best deals in the country?

If in Fact someone is actually giving you $11,000.00 off of MSRP I think you might have found your dealer!!

That would be well below cost on any Superduty!!

[/ QUOTE ]Guess I'll weigh with my first post as I just bought at a discount like that in Katy, just west of Houston. A loaded 4x4 crew cab Lariat. Pretty much everything except sunroof, even has the the 20" wheels and chrome package. Anyway, they offered it at $10.5k off of msrp, or $39,500. I've been buying vehicles through an auto broker for almost 20 years now and when I ran this truck by him, he researched the VIN and said the deal was a no-brainer. I'm happy. Try Bobby Williams @ Sunrise Ford in Fontana, CA.

He is a site sponsor and also President of the Southern California Power Strokes!

I have bought four trucks from him in the past few years and he has always treated me right!

Re: buying new truck soon, who has the best deals in the country?

This should be posted in Ordering Information where a few dealers/site sponsors might respond. Including Cochise who is right htere in town. Well, close, depending on where in Houston you are. He's in Humble.

However, $11k off MSRP sounds like you may be trying to beat a guy up over $5 in a deal without consideration for anything else that is much more important in a deal. Nothing personal, but buyers like you are ones dealers run from. If you're going to beat him up over $5, you're goig to be a PITA in service too. Find the truck you want, make the deal as you already have a baseline. Or let the guy find you the truck you want. Don't make the deal harder on you than it should be.

if this is below dealer cost they must be loosin' money
all over the place...cause i bought mine for 11k off
sticker (and didnt pay hidden charges) just over a year ago.

dont forget we're closing in on the end of the year and
there are factory to dealer incentives based on volume that
would allow the dealer to sell at greatly reduced prices...

Re: buying new truck soon, who has the best deals in the country?

my 06 was 10.5 off list back in August during the family pricing deal.
Your not going to find much better than your 11K discount.
