That is also worth for other goods like food. I travel regularly to the United States and I noted that the prices are generally higher. Naturally one should not generalize. This is not true for all.

I hope guys like the lawyer Joseph Tabacco quoted in the article lay off! They won't get lower prices in the USA by doing this, only result may be higher prices in Canada and then everyone loses? The article lists several reasons for the lower prices in Canada BUT they don't mention the single reason for a lot of the higher prices in the USA. No disrespect meant to anyone here, but its guys like this Mr Tabacca (lawyers) who file the multi million dollar lawsuits over many frivolous things that affect the prices in the US. It has to be built into the price of the product whatever it is, a vehicle or cup of coffee.... Fortunatly we don't (yet) have such a lawsuit laden system here which undoubtedly keeps manufacturers costs of doing business lower.
