Cab Steps (running boards) 2006 4x4 F250 Lariat.

I know that standard (black I think) running boards come on the Lariat Diesel. On the XLT they are optional "18L" Cab Steps $370($314).

Can they be deleted for credit on the Lariat? I plan to install Westin Steps instead.

Thanks.

No, they are standard, no delete is available.

My dealership told me 2 weeks ago that the factory was actually out of the black steps and that they had to put the chrome step bars on because they have to put something on there. That is just what I was told though, I'm not sure if it holds any truth.

Chrome is good, just don't offer to pay extra for it. It sounds like they mis-ordered.
