Camper vs Stableizer Package

Trying to decide on an option. The camper or stableizer package. The camper package takes 213 lbs off the useable weight while the stableizer package only take 62 lbs off. Other than the camper certification, is there much else difference?

Thanks

Bill

Re: Camper vs Stableizer Package

I have been debating the same thing. I know with the camper package you get the overload springs. I would be doing mostly pulling medium weight loads so i don't know if i want the overloads.

Re: Camper vs Stableizer Package

From Ford truck world I found out that the F250 need the overloads added and the F350 already have them. So I sent Bobby my list to build me a truck and used the stableizer package.

Now the wait begins.

Time to sell the 2001 F150....

Re: Camper vs Stableizer Package

When I got my 2003, it had the camper package on it. Not sure what else that gives me, other than the steering damper. I think the springs are different than a truck without the camper package?

Re: Camper vs Stableizer Package

THE CAMPER PKG GIVES you both the stabilizer bar and the over loads. for me i would not have one with out them both. but to each their own. better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. BILL
