Can I track a Canadian order somehow??

I see a lot of you fellas that can tell the TIME that your truck was
"born" ..... er ... whats the seceret? Can I track a Canadian order with the resorces at hand? and is there a shut down at the plant during the summer that might effect the usual 6-8 week build process.

You'll have to check your order at the dealer. When you place your order check back with the dealer after about 2 weeks. They should have the "DORA" sheet for your order. That will show your serial number and build date of the unit. After about 2 days past the build date the dealer will receive a Rail Car number. You can use this number to track the unit from the factory all the way until it gets unloaded in your city on the CN Rail website. Once you find out from CN that the unit is unloaded call your dealer to check when they will recive it. If your dealers nice they can send a salemen out to the rail yard to pick it up sooner. It took 5 days for my truck to get up to Calgary from the plant. The dealer went out to get it the next morning.

Thanks for the info ..... The truck is actually being delivered to Vancouver and the wrecker will be installed there and driven to Calgary and I'll meet the salesman for the switch in your backyard to drive the new one home. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
