Can you use the X plan with incentives?

My locale dealer keeps telling me I can't use the xplan and use the incentive. Say if I want to go through my bank and use the cash back on the truck plus use xplan. I know on my Nissan deal I get my vppn price plus any incentives.

Re: Can you use the X plan with incentives?

Yes you most certainly can. I would find another dealer as the rebates/incentives can not be held from you according to my dealer when I ordered my 05 on x-plan. You should get the x-plan price as well as any rebates offered.

Re: Can you use the X plan with incentives?

Yes, you can use the national incentives, but some other incentives can't be used with the X-plan. A couple that I can think of are the college grad, and AQHA that can't be used with the X-plan.

Re: Can you use the X plan with incentives?

if you are refering to the cash back rebates you can use them in addition to the x-plan price as well as the interest rate incentives.

March over to that dealership, tell him that he lied to you, and you found another dealership that is willing to do things the right way, and that you're headed over to them with cash in hand for your new vehicle.

Thank you everyone. I just wanted to make sure before I go back and tell them what I think! It's sad that some folks have to fight with dealers like this.

Another thing to keep in mind, the dealer should not charge you doc fees etc. as they are part of the X-Plan reimbursement from Ford. You are only responsible for tax and license.

Have you got that in writing or a link on the web? My last purchase was X-plan and I was charged doc fees. I'm thinking of ordering again and want to save that $$.

Thanx

From the web at: http://www.fordpartner.com "The dealership may NOT charge separately for document preparation or other administrative services incidental to the delivery of the vehicle."

Re: Can you use the X plan with incentives?

Well, fella's I was looking for another ride for my wife but I got caught in the cross fire! No more X It's gone!! It's a long story but my X got caught in the deal and now I'm in an 2005 f150 regular cab 4.6 3.55ls. It's a pretty truck but doesn't have NO where near the power the X had. I'm glad I didn't buy that BB turbo now.

Ok back on story. I used the xplan and when we were signing papers I seen where I was charged a small amount for documents. Should I go back and ask for that money back.

By the way thank you for those of you who helped. It didn't go as planned for me, but couldn't have done it with out your help. I'll be back after 07 trucks come out I have been told I can get one then.
