4.5L V8 Diesel Engine

300+ horsepower and 450 lb.-ft. of torque. The diesel is designed to get 3-4 mpg better fuel economy on average compared to the 5.4L gas engine.

I would say if they offer this in the expy it could also be offered in the F150!

That was posted on here a few weeks ago. Ford is just trying to get an idea of the demand for such an option. There are no plans to offer it yet.

I'd buy me EL, xlt, 4wd with the 4.5 diesel! Ya,, I'd like the Limited but I just can'r afford it.

It would really be nice if they offer it in the f150. I really need a truck but not as much truck as the new f250 but the current F150 isn't enough.

I totally agree. I'd have to add one as well. I really wish Ford would persue this option to the fullest.
