Chrome Steps

Truck came thru with rubber boards not chrome steps. There not sure who's fault it is, not mine, if it's is their fault they want to give a
credit, mentioned $200. I would rather have the steps. If I have to go aftermarket what is the best brand? What would be approximate price. I can't go thru ordering a new truck but they don't know that. Anybody know how much the Ford steps are? Thanks, Robert

Re: Chrome Steps

Just have them take the ones that came with it off and order the chrome ones and have them put them on when they come in. Is that an option?
Since you had yours drop shipped, which dealer is working with you? Does it matter which one you work with? Does it complicate things more? The reason I ask is because I am having mine drop shipped from the same dealer to my location in New Mexico. I hope I don't run into this problem. Keep posted.

Re: Chrome Steps

Jersey Bob, Fear not! This company has polished stainless steel inserts for your black running boards. It blows the chrome away,no pitting no rusting super low maintainance! it will last a lifetime. I didn't order any running boards with mine because i got the catalog before ordering my truck.real high quality stuff. Here's the website, good luck.....John www.j-jent.com
