Conflicting Info - Diesel Forum

I Ordered my F250 PSD on 11 Jan 02. I obtained the VIN from the dealer 2 weeks later, 1FTNW21F22EC17932. I talked with Ford's customer service last week and they gave me a build date of 11 Feb 02 and a deliver date of 18 Feb 02. Talked with my dealer today, and he gave me a build date of 11 Feb 02 and a deliver date of 25 Feb 02. Who should I believe? Also, can I track the vehicle while it is being shipped? (In the same manner as you can track UPS/Fedex ... shipments)?

Cochise here. My units have been running 10/14 days after build date for delivery to the dealer. No one knows to the day when your unit will hit the ground. This is not "Rocket Science"! So, in your case if I was to bet... 02/22/02. You can tell us later how close I has.
Tracking your unit has become very difficult. The railroads have somewhat limited your access to their tracking systems. If the unit is shipped convoy you would need your dealer to track it.
