Yeah, I know what he meant. I just couldn't resist. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif[/img] I don't think I would ever spend that kind of dough either. Doesn't make a lot of sense to spend that kind of bucks to drop a Cummins into a Ford. You sure wouldn't get your money back in resale. But hey, maybe that is an idea, buy one from someone who already spent the bucks!

So what ? If you buy a new truck you lose about $10K in the first year, after spending $20K to trade up to a new truck.

I should have qualified that statement. You would not get your money back just from the pure sense of the "upgrade". If your engine was toast, and you had to spend several grand to replace it anyway, then it would probably make sense spend a little more to put in a Cummins.
