Dealer Cost ?

I was just wondering what is dealer cost? Is it the invoice total, x-plan, a-plan, etc? Also if I were to take the special financing like the 2.9 for 60 months will I get any other rebates? Thanks

Re: Dealer Cost ?

I had the same question so prior to ordering my truck I went to "Edmunds.com".There, they explain how to calculate the dealer cost by using the "Holdback". The "Holdback" is what Ford or GM pays their dealers per vehicle.Ford's "Holdback" is 3%.To calculate dealer cost, take 3% of MSRP and subtract it from the Invoice price. This is dealer cost. Add $1,000-$500 to this and this is the price you should be able to order a truck for. I ordered mine about 2 weeks ago and got it for $250 under X-plan.

Re: Dealer Cost ?

your calculation is close, first deduct freight , then take the 3%. Ford does dot pay a discount on the freight charges.
