Dealer just called. It arrived this morning. It's being washed as I'm typing.
Ordered 8/9, build date 10/2, ETA 10/31. Dealer said it would be 8 to 10 weeks and that he gets all of his trucks a week earlier than the build date. He was pretty close on both.
I'm still at work (it's about 1 PM Pacific Time) so I haven't seen it yet. It's going to be a long afternoon.
I'll post the details of what actually arrived and how the delivery went tomorrow morning.

I picked it up yesterday at about 4PM (PST) and everything went very well. The truck is beautiful and everything is just exactly as it should be. Everything that was supposed to be there, was there and everything was in good condition.
The rear stabilizer was there and the brake controller "stuff" was in the glove box.
I got the redesigned fold-down console (40/20/40 seat) but without the integral armrests; that must be Lariat only. It does have two additional drink holders though. That makes four drink holders in the front seat. They must think us SuperDuty owners are heavy drinkers.
My dealer was great. We had agreed upon $750 over invoice and that is exactly what it was. The final number was actually less than we had originally estimated. Pleasant surprise!
I could'nt be happier. THIS IS A GREAT TRUCK!! IT WAS WORTH THE ALMOST THREE MONTH WAIT!!
I know some of you guys have had problems but mine has definitely been a success story. The truck and the dealer are both great. The Lord was watching over me on this one and I thank him.
I wish all of luck with your trucks and hope that those of you that have not yet received your truck, have as good an experience as I had and that you end up loving your truck as much as I love mine.

Added on edit:
I forgot: It came with Firestones and I don't hear anything like the flutter that I have been reading about; it's quiet as a mouse, better than my '95.

Hey guys, get this. I just went out to the parking lot at lunch time to "admire" my new wheels and a buddy of mine walked by on his way out to admire his new truck.
He picked his up yesterday also. Same color, Island Blue, except his is a Lariat so his accent color is Gold where mine is Silver. He got the SC and I got the CC but we both got V10 with 3:73.
He ordered in June and just now received his. He didn't get the new valance air dam below the front bumper, I did. He also has the 40/20/40 front seat but he got the old fold-down console and I got the new one. He said he would rather have the old one and I'm glad I got the new one so I guess things do work out. He didn't order the camper package so no rear sway bar.
I still like the Lariat wheels better than the XLT wheels but you can't have everything; they're both nice trucks.

Where was your buddies truck built? Also where can I find pictures of old vs. new air dam?

I'm really surprised to see that mine's in too. Ordered on 9/11, arrived on 10/23, and will take receipt of it on 10/26! Looked at it last night - what a beauty. Mine was built at KTP and will have to look at the center console - hope I've got the new style too!
I also have the Firestones but am working on getting them changed out. Dealer says they'll trade mine out today for a set of General's on the lot. Will have to see tomorrow if they were successful.

David,
My friend's truck was assembled in Kentucky, the same as mine.
As for the air dam. I don't believe there was an "old" air dam. The valance air dam is an entirely new part. From what I've seen, previous trucks had a flexible rubber "flap" located below the radiator area and that was it. The new "air dam" is a rigid, formed plastic piece that extends about four inches below the bumper and all the way across and around the corners. I think it does dress up the front end a bit, whether it's actually functional or not.
Try not to let the wait for your truck drive you crazy.
