Delivery date ?

<font color="blue"> </font color> Hello all,
I ordered my F-350 on June 27th, just heard from my dealer rep.
He said that he has a full vin #. but does not know about delivery,
does any one have any idea when that could be ?
Thanks for any info, I guess that I'm just getting a little anxious,

Re: Delivery date ?

You're talking to the wrong person at the dealership. If they have a full VIN, then they also have an estimated delivery week. Click here to read the normal sequence of events on the status of your order.

Your delership receives a status report every Friday that includes the latest status of your order. If you are antsy about the order, then go down there on Friday night and ask to see that status report. If your dealerperson doesn't seem to know what your're talking about, then go up the chain of command until you find someone with a clue. If it's a big dealership, then you'll probably want to talk to someone called the Inventory Manager. In smaller dealerships the new-truck manager or new-car manager should know where they keep that report. Once you find that report, then inform your dealerperson that you expect her to call you every Friday with the latest status of your order.

My guess is you're about a month away from receiving your truck. About two more weeks to get it built and then another two weeks to ship it up to Yankee country. But that assumes that your dealer received the VIN in the status report last Friday. If they had the VIN earlier, then you'll get your truck earlier.

Re: Delivery date ?

Thanks for the information Smokey. I will go see my dealer Friday night, for an update on my order. My first PSD. Can't wait, don't want to be a P.I.T.A.
