Delivery Date ???

Man I'm PO'd at my dealer for lack of information!

I ordered my F350 Crew Cab Diesel Lariat on January 8th this year. It's a fleet order so I was told we would be put higher up the build list from normal Joe Schmoe orders.

After not more info than March I pushed them today for a date. All I got was:

"It's been serialized but not yet produced"

What the heck sort of answer is that I asked.

Can any of you tell me or give me some insight as to when I will see my truck??

I know shipping to Vancouver, Canada is about three weeks. So I have that on top of the build time.

I have dealt with a few different dealers in western canada, and I can tell you that a lot of them LIE about allocations.

I was lied to on the order I just made! I talked to the dealer and asked them striaght up if they had allocation to get my order in in Feb... He said yes... So if the order was actually picked from their computer that thurs, they should have had some info for me by the monday (from what I have seen around here)...

They still dont have a vin for me, but are telling me the truck will be built the first week of april... TOTAL BS... That means to me that they didnt have the allocation in Feb, and put the truck in the computer for a March pull...

I just got a call from a close friend (one of my best friends) who's dad owns an actual ford dealership, and they told me they are NOW able to get a truck ordered for first week of april build... They didnt have the allocation in Feb, but they do now. So now I see the first dealer i ordered with was lieing to me!

I think i am going to cancel my order at the first dealer, and go with my friends. I wanted to in the first place, but after this, I think im gonna switch.

Its an insult how so many dealers just outright lie straight to your face about this stuff.

We all get so excited about our new baby's and they take advantage of that.
