Finally decided to upgrade. Placed order yesterday from McFarland Ford Mercury in Brigham City the new truck in sig below. Many thanks to this site and Bobby Williams' order guides for enabling me to get $500 over invoice. They were pleased I had the order guide, said it made their job easier.

Did you deal with Jamie (a he) at McFarland? Email me (again) I would like more info on your decision and the club. I'm ordering a F350 PSD SC 4x4 LB within a month or two, so some of your insight might help. If you don't mind was your order $500 over invoice plus DOC fee? What is McFarland's DOC fee?
Also I had two fleet managers tell me they would process the paper work as soon as they had a VIN; so I could get the $1000 rebate. You might want to look into this.

ak4me: I dealt with Travis. I'll email you the details. Unfortunately the $1000 rebate doesn't apply to the fast moving crew cabs, only supercabs and regular cabs. The fuel charge and FDAF are part of dealer invoice, only $123 in this case. I'll not quibble over this. I paid much more for my first truck, because I didn't know about this site at the time. It was half way between invoice and msrp, I thought at the time that was a good deal. I've learned a lot from this site.
