Discount for Ford Dealer employees? - Diesel Forum

I work for a Ford dealer as a mechanic. I've been looking to buy a fairly truck. I thought I might see what my dealership can do for me. I was talking to one of the owners today and he said the best I could get is a "D Plan" The way he was talking, that only takes about 4 grand off of MSRP. I would think they would give me a better discount than that. I'm wondering if anyone knows what I can get. Thanks

D plan is the same price as the Ford employee A plan. It's rare that you can buy something for less than D plan or A plan prices, but it does happen once in a while on something that isn't moving very well.

I thought D plan fell between A and X plan pricing.

D Plan is $100 over the A Plan pricing and is also printed on the dealer invoice.

Do they offer anything better if I were to order one? Since whatever I buy will have a manual, something that is hard to find around here.

Nope, a truck is a truck whether it has an auto or manual trans.
