Double Dog Secret Online Status Information?

Orderd my 02' F350 Lariat PSD CC longbed almost 3 weeks ago.

I am a stable, rational, adult. I am not going insane. Yet. Really.

Is there anyway to check build status online? I know the FAQs here mentioned something that F*rd asked to be removed, but I wonder is there still such a facility, known to the secret diesel society insiders?

I have a DORA, priority 20, no VIN yet. My dealer kindly asked me not to "go crazy" on them while I wait. I'm trying.

So, anybody know the AdultChek passwords to the Big Truck porno website, or is such a thing just not available anymore?

Thanks!

-steve, waiting and still showering weekly.

Do you know why they gave you a priority 20? We usually give priority 10 to retail orders. It shouldn't make a lot of difference because the factory is really cranking right now, but you might want to ask.

Re: Double Dog Secret Online Status Information?

They told me that was "high", but they could be yanking my chain. This dealer moves a lot of Superdutys, they have about 20 F350s in stock right now. They move about 200-250 new vehicles a month.

I do beleive them when they claim they have the best Superduty allocation in the area. Shultz Ford, Nanuet NY.

No, not exactly.

The Ford dealers have a telephone hotline to the Ford Vehicle Order Processing Center (VOPC). Some dealers will show you the secret handshake and password to use their hotline. Some won't.

Most dealerpersons don't have a clue that the hotline even exists. My nephew has been a very successful Ford salesman for over 20 years, and he didn't know about the hotline until I showed him how to use it. He receives a weekly status report from the dealership back office every Friday afternoon, and that report contains the latest status from the VOPC for every unfilled order the dealership has open. So he didn't have any use for the hotline.

Re: Double Dog Secret Online Status Information?

Thanks guys.

I'll just sit here for a while, dab a little kerosene on my moustache and make vroomm-pokka-pokka-pokka noises while I shop online for a gauge pod and a 5er hitch.
