Dual Alternators/Aux. Idle Control for PSD Excursion

I just received a May 15 build week so this question has become more pressing.....

Have any of you succeeded in getting Ford to add dual alternators to a PSD Excursion and/or the Aux. Idle Control?

I know that neither are standard options on the Excursion, but they are available for all other Super Duty PSD applications (and the needs of my rig and trailer living quarters make both a nice thing to have).

Any hints on how to fool the DORA process or do you know how to otherwise successfully approach Ford with this request? My dealer hasn't gone any further than inputting the codes for these options (63T and 96P) into a dummy Excursion and hearing back "U114 - Option code is unknown for this body/pep" and "U515 - Order cannot be processed until data is entered or correct".

As you can guess, I'd particularly like to get this added at the factory--and get them at invoice price instead of parts counter markups.

Thanks for any help/thoughts you may be able to pass along!

Re: Dual Alternators/Aux. Idle Control for PSD Excursion

Hi Andy,
If you have a build date, you are locked in on options. Can't cancel, can't add, can't delete. There has been a couple of posts from a guy in Baltimore (i think) that has wired in a Aux idle control on the Excursion (the plug that is used to tie Aux idle control on Super Duty is not on the Excursion). Only way to get dual alternators would be after you get it here.
