EAA and X-Plan pricing

What exactly is the EAA? I have read that this qualifies you for x-plan pricing. Do you just present a membership card at the dealer when ordering? Also how much does x-plan pricing save over regular consumer pricing? Will be ordering a 2002 first week of August. Thanks!

Re: EAA and X-Plan pricing

What is EAA?

X-Plan is 4% over A-Plan according to Cochise. A-Plan is for Ford employees.
After you join the EAA, you get a PIN number that you give to whoever you order the truck from.

Re: EAA and X-Plan pricing

Thanks for the post and I will be joining the EAA soon. Cochise I have ordered my last two trucks the first week in Aug. and have taken delivery the first couple weeks in Oct. Still need to get a little more use out of the 2001 before I get rid of it. Plus I waiting to see the price guide before I order as well. Thanks!

Re: EAA and X-Plan pricing

Is the "X" plan 1.6% under the dealers "real" invoice or is it the invoice that includes the 3% holdback, dealer incentives, etc....? I'm think about a F-350 PSD or an EX PSD. But with slumping sales and higher fuel cost I'm not so sure that the "X" plan can't be beaten. UNLESS it is under the REAL invoice! EX's in my area are sitting on the lots for 4-6 months gasser or diesel doesn't matter.

Re: EAA and X-Plan pricing

I assume that the EAA is the Experimental Aircraft Assn or What Else?

Thanks,
Cappy

Re: EAA and X-Plan pricing

Cochise, if the EAA "X-plan" pricing is so common, why not just sell them to everyone on the list at that price? Heck, I'll even send you the $40 instead of to the EAA!

Re: EAA and X-Plan pricing

Cappy,

Yes, EAA stands for Experimental Aircraft Association.
