Elapsed time from order to delivery?

Hi folks,

I was wondering what the average time to delivery is, from when you complete a Buyer's Order (that's what my salesman calls it) with the salesman?

This week I'm going to order a F-250 XLT 6.0PSD 6sp 4x2 CC SWB, and get the pricing locked in before the increase.

My salesman told me to expect 10-12 weeks for delivery. I noticed that some of you are experiencing more delay, but since dealer stock is not starting to be filled, maybe the delay is less.

Thanks for any comments.

tnance,

Thanks alot. 4 weeks order to build, 2 weeks build to delivery. That doesn't seem too bad.

Re: Elapsed time from order to delivery?

Your Dealers Allotment plays a big part in this also a commodity could become in short supply which would determine the time frame

I ordered mine today a 6.0 auto drw sc psc which my dealer says will be in 6 weeks.

Re: Elapsed time from order to delivery?

Like tnance, I ordered in late October, had it built in late November, and picked it up at the railhead in the San Fran Bay area on Dec. 2nd. tnance, guardrail22, and I also had the injector problem hold in our time period. You may be faster.
