F-350 price info?

I priced a F-350 CC SB SRW today. It would be loaded with everything except leather. The MSRP according to the dealer was 36,060, I was told 32,915 plus tax. Does anyone know if this is a good price or not? Also, if an option is not available such as idle control, will the order be rejected?

Ask to see the DORA. It will have the dealer invoice price. You can get the truck from $100 to $1500 over invoice. If it's on the lot, you might pay more. Usually depends on how popular the truck is in your area.

Mine was purchased for $500 over dealer invoice. MSRP 37,870 INVOICE 32,995

Thanks for the reply. I was told by the dealer that it was "about 1k" over invoice. I guess I need to shop around a little more.

Where are you located? Most areas have dealers who will deal within a short distance. My dealer said $200 over for any ordered SD. Many others will come close to that. Also go to www.carprice.com and price one out before you go to the dealer. And try to deal with the fleet manager. They are salaried not on comission.

Blount-Strange in Montgomery. Ask for Hal Jones. He is the fleet sales manager. You can tell him I refered you if you want. I think they have a 1-800 number but I don't have it right now.
