F-450 Pickup bed coming out soon?

I heard that Ford is coming out soon with a pickup bed for the F-450. Does anyone have information about this? Thanks very much.

I don’t know about Ford “coming out” with a pick-up bed for the F-450 but I was at Atkins Ford in Winder Ga this weekend and they had 5 crew cab F-450’s in stock with “Ford” pick-up beds?? These were exactly the same beds as the F-350’s that were right beside them right down to the tail lights, tail gate with “Ford” emblem and fuel filler door behind the rear drivers door. The only modification I could see was the addition of another fuel door to the left rear fender for the rear axle fuel tank on the F450 and a extra 5” “brace” between the cab and bed. Sure looked like the real thing to me.

There are aftermarket companies that put Ford beds on the F450s but you still can't get them from the factory that way.

You can order it from your Ford dealer as a ship through from a mod center. The truck will then arrive with the bed on it.
