MHudson, I have a F550 Lariat on order from Bobby Williams (great person to deal with)! Ordered the 4X2, with automatic -
see signature. Had it dropped shipped to Highway Products to have a Highwayman towbody and Link air suspension installed, set up for towing large 5th wheel trailer. Currently at Highway Products being worked on - haven't seen it yet.

I have a few 4x4's on order for customers, but NONE are 6 speeds.

Bobby, I think I am feeling a bit on the sick side - maybe I can take a sick day off and go down and take a look at it! Unfortunately
Highway Products is about 225 miles away and I still have to work for a living at least until March. Really anxious to get it!!!!
Talked to Rob Underwood at Highway Products and said that it was a great looking truck, after they get all the work done to it they
want to take pictures and put in the Highway Products Sales Brochure!

busterjo, Picked my truck up on Monday and drove it home on Tuesday - all I can say is "AWESOME"!!!! Plenty of power!!! Lots of looks driving it home - Dodge owner almost got whiplash when passed. Stopped by a local Ford dealer yesterday and the whole dealership emptied into the parking lot to check it out! Hopefully I'm doing this right to access the few photos taken so far.

that is a serious looking truck...! very cool..
how do u like the finish on the highwayman package, are uhappy with their work. what air ride system do they use..do they do any frame cutting to mount their tow box.
also curious about the 4:88 ratio..how was rpms cruising on the highway..what kind of mileage did u get..

Thanks! Highway products builds a great body - fit and finish are exceptional. Good job on matching paint - minor complaint, dosen't seem to be as much metallic in the towbody as in the truck cab. Overall very happy with their work. Should be, their bodies are kinda spendy! They use Link UltraRide air suspension, provides a great ride, so far very happy with it. When I visited their plant last spring, I believe they stated that they cut a bit off the frame to fit the Highwayman body on. When driving back home kept varying speed - at highway speed was running around 2500 - wish I could remember MPH - not paying that much attention I guess - just in awe of the truck... Haven't checked mileage yet. Overall very happy with Highway Products towbody, very solid unit! If you haven't found their website yet www.800toolbox.com
