F250 VS F350

Ok I made up my mind to trade in the V10 for a PSD and after seeing Bobby Williams truck I need to move fast and I have a buttload of questions. I have been reading here for a few days but couldn't find answers to all the questions so I will post as needed.

Should I go F350 over the F250 and is the ride the same on both trucks like the leaf spring trucks? I am going with a truck like my V10 but with DSL and auto and now I tow a 27' bumper pull toy hauler and plan on upgrading to a 32' 5th wheel toy hauler and all other times I will be empty. I don't want a rough ride!

3.73 LS gears?

Thanks.

Re: F250 VS F350

I can not help much as to the ride diference between the new F250 and F350, although I do not have any problem with the ride of my F350, but thats me . You might try test driving both.

I would think that towing a 32 ft 5er though you would be best with an F350 with a 4.10 rear end. You might try asking some of the guys on the Towing and Hauling Forum. Good Luck.

Re: F250 VS F350

Just my .02, but if you are considering that much of a 5er, you should give consideration to a dually. I have no personal experience with a 5er, gooseneck cattle trailer, "yes", 5er, "no", but the guys I camp with and all my local farmers would not even consider a SRW when pulling a 5er or a Gooseneck. Talk on the town is that it addes a lot more side to side stability, which is something I can tell just with my bumper tow. If you have ever been caught in heavy winds then you know what I mean.

Re: F250 VS F350

I must agree with on getting the dually if you're going to pull a FW that big. Stability-wise, the DRW truck is much better. I have pulled my 30' FW toyhauler with a SRW 250 and a DRW 350, and the DRW 350 is a MUCH less stressful ride. When they say " Can't even feel that trailer behind you" they were pulling with a dually. My .02 worth. C-Ya!!
