Everybody pays FDAF (Ford District Advertising Fund), and anything else that's on the dealer's invoice. FDAF pays for those ads what end with something like "See your West Texas Ford dealer for details". And yes, you gotta pay it if you want a Ford.
What you don't pay under X-Plan is anything the dealer adds to the invoice price, such as documentation fee, dealer prep, ADP (additional dealer profit), etc. Also, you don't have to accept any dealer-installed options if you order the truck. For example, some dealers add "paint protection" and or "fabric protection" and or undercoating for a high price. Just say no.
If you buy a truck out of stock, it may already have some dealer-installed options. If that case, you are back to negotiating to determine how much you'll pay for those options. That a good reason to order your truck, so you'll control the entire transaction.
sorry I misquoted ya..
