Finally...Its here!!!!!!

Well Guys,

It is finally here. Didn't think this day would ever come. All I can say is it is nicer than we even imagined. Thanks again to all of you who patiently answered all our questions. While driving it, my husband said "there isn't a single thing that I can honestly say I wish this truck had that it doesn't".

Now we are scheduled for the bed liner install Saturday and hitch work Tuesday.

Haven't found mud flaps yet and need guages installed. We have hooked up with Bob and Shirley at the dieselsite, and hopefully will have a solution soon. My husband fell in love with the under cubbie mount, but now it appears because of the 05 driver glove box we have issues with putting them down there. He didn't really care for the pillar mount and x-monitor seemed to fill the gap, but Bob has expressed some concerns over how they monitor. So we are still working on that one.

Anyhow, thanks again to everyone for your feedback and ideas. It has been a long learning curve (1st diesel) and long wait for arrival (11 1/2 weeks) from order to delivery. Atleast the wait is over and I know the learning never ends.

Lea

Thats Great, you are really going to enjoy your new truck. When I drove one with the towboss pkg with 4.30's, I was in awe about the improved performance of the truck compared to one just like it with 4.10's. So Congrats!!!! Re: Finally...Its here!!!!!!

Lea, I'am considering the X Monitor gauges also. I like the idea their digital and you get three gauges in one. The other advantage I see is it dosen't take up your entire A-pillar and it just sits there on the dash.

The question I have for you is, your concern on the way they monitor. Also, like you, I have considered the small cubby for mounting it but worry that glancing at it will take my eyes off the road too often. The A-pillar mount sseems safer. If you can, let me know your concerns.

Thanks, Mark
